Never under estimate the power of one day at a time

Small beginnings and one day at a time are sometimes thrown into the wind and made off as useless….
I am here today to let you know that the ONLY WAY TO START IS SMALL
And
ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!
New habits cannot be created in overnight,
New habits are created ONE DAY AT A TIME
When you start something new, you cannot be good at it in one go, one must practice and repeat the skill over and over until you have mastered the skill.
Stepping into the world of embarking on permanent and life-long weight loss, it is the same,
Take one day at a time and work on it, get it right, and move onto the next
…and REPEAT...
YES…
That is the catch,
once you have mastered that skill you have to CONTINUE WITH THAT SKILL DAILY!
Otherwise, it is just a skill you have mastered and not using,
and then it becomes the Hole in your action plan.
Where no RESULTS HAPPENS….
When embarking on this journey people so often start and they start well,
Mastering habits and doing it daily.
e.g.,
Better portion sizes
Balanced plates
More protein
More water
More daily movement
Regular Exercise
Better food choices
Less treats and alcohol
The list goes on….
THEN…they become complacent and do not pay attention to each of these habits DAILY…
 
Much like the habit of brushing your teeth daily…
A healthy lifestyle needs to be practiced and continually, consistently applied everyday for it to succeed.
 
If you skip brushing your teeth one day - besides a bad breath not much will happen,
BUT stop brushing your teeth….
You will have to bear the consequences of tooth decay, gum disease etc.
 
Our health, vitality and wellness pays the price if we do not keep up with our healthy lifestyle choices.
 
TAKE YOUR JOURNEY ONE DAY AT A TIME…GET IT RIGHT…REPEAT AND DO BETTER EVERY DAY!
